    Safety Tips

  1. Night Vision - Electronic devise that provides vision in a low light or total darkness condition.It can be hand held or mounted to a fire arm....
  2. Thermal Imaging - Electronic devise that allows for viewing the "heat " image of humans and animals through walls and heavy brush....
  3. Rally Point - Place where all parties or persons through prior arrangement have designated as a place to meet or gather up in a time of emergency or up rising....
  4. Food - Any type of consumable item , animal ,or person which can be prepared and eaten. To provide one with energy and digestible fuel....
  5. Shelter - Some type of structure or covering that can keep one out of wind , rain , snow , or sun....
  6. Water - clean and safe of germs and bacteria or viruses. That provide one with daily intake of fluids....
  7. Weapons - Any type of fire arm or knife.. Along with any type of hand held tool or devise that could be used to do damage to any human or animal....
  8. Bang - Slang term for any type of rifle , hand gun or other devise that held in ones hands will propel a bullet....
  9. Boom - Slang term for any type of devise or piece of equipment that destroys objects by exploding....
  10. Communications - Cell Phones , traditional Walkie Talkie's , CB Radios , Amateur Band radios ....
  11. Land Line - Traditional Telephone System .....
  12. M - R - E's - Meals - Ready - to - Eat ...Military type food rations that require water and heat to prepare for consumption....
  13. Survival Ration - A pouch or packet when opened can be consumed without any type of preparing or cooking and provides total energy needs for 24 hours....
  14. Man Trap - Some type of devise or location that is designed to trap , contain , or do bodily harm to a human. When a unsuspecting victim triggers the devise to activate....
  15. TRIP PLAN - If you are going camping,hiking,horse back riding,4x4-ATVs or what ever else you choose to do. Make sure to leave a trip plan and time of return along with trails and description of your intended activities....
  16. STOP AND LOOK -Look over any situation as for danger,ambush,injury risks. Before jumping in to "rescue" or provide assistance to anyone.You are useless to your self and others if you get involved as a "victim"....
  17. VICTIM - Do not cause someone to be victimized. Do not risk your safety for a victim . Do not become a victim . Avoid unnecessary danger, most "heroes" die !
  18. OIL LAMPS & CANDLES - They use an open flame , be cautious around children,pets, and stupid people. Also in total darkness an open flame can provide anyone with a "beacon" of your position....
  19. DOCUMENTS - Keep all documents and important records in fire and water proof containers that can be transported easily and quickly in an emergency situation....
  20. COVER - Cover is natural or man made obstacles or structures , that provide you protection from gun fire, explosive devises , or flying debris in a storm or battle....
  21. CONCEALMENT - Concealment is some type of camouflage . Natural or man made obstacle , That keeps you from being seen. Yet it "DOES NOT" ! provide protection from any type of gun fire or explosive devises , flying debris in a storm or battle....
  22. SAVE YOUR LIFE - Do not wait until the last minute to leave by making last minute plans and preparations. Do not try to save family treasures or possessions , know when to cut and run !!
  23. STAY MOBILE - If you cannot hold it in one hand ,and walk a mile with it. It will not save your life It will probably kill you !!
  24. BE QUITE - Do not talk or boast about emergency plans or emergency supplies that you have stored . This only makes you vulnerable to looters and thieves !!
  25. TRUST NO ONE - In a truly emergency situation it is every person for themselves. Being a good Samaritan , may put your safety and your loved ones safety at risk !
  26. HAVE A PLAN - Any type of escape plan or evacuation protocol is better than nothing . Have different plans for different types of emergency situations !
  27. FIRST AID - Take a first aid course and stay current with your training. You may have to provide medical treatment to your own injuries in a survival situation !
  28. L-O-S-T - Lean on survival training ! It is key to you living or dying in any natural or man made disaster !
